Coffee Recall Update: FDA Raises Concern Level

Snapchill Coffee Products Recalled Due to Botulism Concerns

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning to consumers about a coffee recall involving products made by Snapchill. The voluntary recall was initiated after the company discovered that some of its coffee concentrates may not have ingredient or nutrition labels.

Affected Products

The recall affects all batches of JoyJolt-branded coffee concentrate with the following lot numbers:

  • 100123
  • 100223
  • 100323

Potential Health Risks

The FDA has raised the concern level to "Class 1," which indicates a reasonable probability that the affected products could cause serious health consequences or death. The lack of ingredient and nutrition labels poses a potential risk to consumers with allergies or dietary restrictions.

Consumer Actions

Consumers who have purchased any of the affected coffee concentrates are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. The FDA also recommends discarding any remaining coffee concentrate or products containing it.
