Ten Couples Are Still Fighting For The Title

Returning from the Easter break and onto the dance floor with full energy

Ten couples are still fighting for the title

After the Easter break, "Let's Dance" is back on RTL with full speed. In the fifth show, the remaining ten couples once again gave everything to impress the jury and the viewers at home. Who could convince and who had to leave the show? We have summarized the highlights of the evening for you.

The highlights of show 5

The evening was opened by the professional dancers with a rousing group dance. Then it was the turn of the ten remaining couples. The first to take to the floor were Mathias Mester and Renata Lusin, who danced a quickstep to "I Got Rhythm". The jury was enthusiastic and praised Mathias for his progress. Next up were Amira Pocher and Massimo Sinató, who performed a sensual rumba to "Shape of My Heart". The jury was also impressed by Amira's performance and praised her for her emotional interpretation of the dance.

The evening continued with another highlight: Ali Güngörmüs and Christina Luft danced a Charleston to "Puttin' on the Ritz". The jury was thrilled by Ali's energy and charisma. The last couple to take to the floor were René Cassini and Kathrin Menzinger, who performed a waltz to "Can't Help Falling in Love". The jury was touched by René's performance and praised him for his sensitivity.

Who had to leave the show?

After all the performances, the jury had the difficult task of deciding which couple had to leave the show. In the end, the decision was made: Cheyenne Ochsenknecht and Evgeny Vinokurov had to say goodbye. The two had danced a salsa to "Conga" and had received mixed criticism from the jury. However, the viewers at home were not convinced and voted Cheyenne and Evgeny out of the show.
